An in-person gathering for the new cohorts and alumni of the EIC Women Leadership Programme is set to be scheduled back-to-back with the EIC Summit.
This will be the official launch of the programme and an incomparable opportunity for the participants to see their cohort fellows physically, build solid relationships, and become a part of a European community of women innovators and leaders.
As it is organized in parallel with the EIC Summit, the event allows the participants to experience the wider European innovation ecosystem, which comprises the founders, researchers, investors, and ecosystem partners.
The EIC Women Leadership Programme is a training and networking scheme aimed at skill development in women researchers and women entrepreneurs. It is delivered by the European Innovation Council.

The EIC Women Leadership Programme is continuously opening new groups to researchers and entrepreneurs belonging to EIC Community. The Entrepreneurial group is also open to a limited number of entrepreneurs, partially financed by EIT.
Two types of cohorts has been organised i.e., Entrepreneurial group: The entrepreneurial group is targeted at women leaders with significant experience, including co-founders, women in C-suite positions, and second line management, who are looking to develop their leadership skills and expand their professional networks, at the same time as growing their innovative ventures; Researcher group: The researcher group assists women researchers who are planning to commercialize their research projects turning them into prosperous businesses and at the same time, developing their leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
Besides focusing on personal development, the programme also promotes peer-to-peer as well as group learning. It merges online and face-to-face training sessions by world-famous, highly skilled trainers and mentors, at the same time, providing very good possibilities for networking. Throughout the whole programme, various interactive formats of learning, motivating examples, and discussion methods are used to ensure the involvement of participants, helping them to think about new ideas and facilitate the exchange of experiences among them.
With the help of the programme, participants develop a better understanding of themselves as leaders and improve their strategic thinking and decision-making skills. Participants' communication and influencing skills with different stakeholders are improved through the programme. Besides that, participants get a good network of trusted peers and mentors, boost their visibility and self-confidence, and have practical tools and a clear path to leading at a higher level and creating a meaningful impact in their organisations and even beyond after finishing the programme.
The program will benefit the participants with develop leadership and skills through trainings; get individual business coaching sessions; receive personal mentoring from experienced leaders and entrepreneurs; network with peers, role models, mentors, investors, C-level leaders, market stakeholders from the European innovation ecosystem.
The Venue of the event will be BeCentral Digital Campus, Brussels. This is a private event.
