Esther Cobbah Recognized for Advancing Women Leaders

Esther Amba Numaba Cobbah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Strategic Communications Africa Ltd (Stratcomm Africa), was recently recognized by the Ghana Employers Association (GEA) for her unique role in contributing towards the development of leaders and promoting women into leadership positions.

The award was conferred during the 5th GEA Annual Leadership Conference held at Alisa Hotel on May 28, 2026. The award recognizes Esther’s exemplary performance as Facilitator of the GEA NHO Female Future Program.

As an impactful mentor in this programme, Esther has been responsible for guiding more than 500 women through ten programmes held between 2019 and now, fostering female involvement in strategic leadership. This program ensures that women acquire, retain, and upskill the leadership skills and acumen required for executive success.

Through the integration of leadership training, effective mentoring, and impactful delivery, Esther has been instrumental in grooming highly skilled and confident women professionals. This further ensures that there is an abundance of leaders for both organizational and societal development.

She is currently serving as the President of the International Public Relations Association and Institute of Public Relations Ghana.

Speaking about accepting the award, Esther stated that she had dedicated the award to Ms. Yvonne Asare Yeboah, who has been the pillar of the Female Future Programme in Ghana since its inception.
