Executive Coach and CEO of BMO Advisory Services, Bola Matel-Okoh, is bringing together some of Nigeria’s leading women in business and leadership for the second edition of The Executive Woman Summit (TEWS).
Scheduled for October 28, 2026, at Victoria Island in Lagos, TEWS 2.0 will focus on the theme “Playing to Win: Elevate Your Vision, Value and Visibility.” The summit is designed for women across different stages of their careers, including C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, founders, professionals and emerging leaders.
The event aims to provide a platform for women to strengthen their leadership voice, develop executive presence, expand their professional networks and position themselves for greater career opportunities.
According to the organisers, the summit will also address the challenges women face while navigating leadership roles and professional environments. Matel-Okoh said women often have to adapt to leadership norms that were not designed with them in mind.
Key Highlights:
“Our task at The Executive Woman Summit is to design systems that enable executive women not only to rise but also to remain at the highest levels of leadership,” she said.
The second edition has a solid set of women leaders in business and corporate Nigeria. Speakers will cover the topics of Bola Adesola, Chairman of Ecobank Nigeria, Ibukun Awosika, Founder of The Chair Centre Group, Dr Mosun Belo-Olusoga, Chairman of MTN Foundation, and Folake Sanu, Transformational Business Executive and Leadership Strategist.
Topics on leadership, influence, power and executive presence and career growth will be discussed at the summit. It will also prompt participants to think about professional identity and contribution to leadership areas.
Aside from the official talks, TEWS 2.0 is going to create opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing. Participants will be provided with an opportunity to meet other women leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals which may lead to opportunities for collaboration and future professional relationships.
Matel-Okoh's goal is to make the summit more than just a one-day event. She has a vision to create a community where women can progress to their careers and not sacrifice their identity or values.
The organisers are urging the interested ones to register early for the summit, which will take place in Lagos on October 28, with only 200 places left. TEWS 2.0 aims to provide a platform for women to develop and build their leadership skills, increase their visibility and take on the next rung on the leadership ladder with confidence.
