Corning Incorporated has promoted Michele Fink to Vice President, Talent Management, expanding her leadership responsibilities after more than a decade of association with the company. She brings over 25 years of experience across talent management, human resources, organizational development, change management, learning and development, HR technology and employee relations.
Michele previously served as Division Vice President, Human Resources, Display, MCE and Asia at Corning, where she was based in Shanghai, China, for more than two years. Before that, she held the role of VP HR, Optical Communications and earlier served as Human Resources Director, Optical Connectivity Solutions and Human Resources Manager, IT. Her career at Corning has covered a wide range of HR functions, businesses and regions.
Michele first joined Corning in 2015 as Human Resources Manager before moving to Gordon Food Service in 2018 as Vice President Human Resources NA, People & Organization Development, and HRIS & HRPMO. She returned to Corning in 2019 and took on a series of HR leadership roles across technology, optical communications, display and Asian operations. Her latest appointment places her in an enterprise-wide role focused on talent management.

Earlier, Michele spent more than 14 years with Perrigo Company plc, where she built extensive experience across organizational development, change management, talent systems, learning and HR operations.
Her job functions were Director, Global Organizational Development & Change Management; Head of Training & Talent Management Systems; US Regional Training Manager; SAP HCM Program Manager and Director of HR for Perrigo New York. She started her career at Perrigo in benefits and employee relations roles, then transitioned into operations, continuous improvement and then into increasingly senior HR leadership roles.
Michele began her HR career with Allied Finishing Inc., spanning from recruiting, onboarding, benefits admin, and employee relations. She is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a Master’s in Business Administration. Her business-facing HR leadership and background in talent, organizational development, learning systems and transformation offers a comprehensive background for her new role at Corning.
