  • Foundry HER opens 2025 Online Bootcamp applications for Nigerian female technologists
  • Program provides training, mentorship, networking and a $50000 non-dilutive grant

Nigeria's female entrepreneurs in tech now have another platform to grow their ideas as the Foundry for HER announces its taking applications for its 2025 Online Bootcamp. The program aims to equip female tech founders with training, mentorship and networking opportunities, while providing the chosen participants with an opportunity to compete for a $50000 non-dilutive grant.

As per an MSME Africa report, the programme is fueled by the Aurora Tech Award by inDrive together with The Nest Innovation Park and is following a trend of international initiatives aimed at assisting young innovators, after recent internship programs introduced by technology leaders Google and Apple to develop the next generation of skilled employees.

Women are still underrepresented in the startup scene in Africa even as they are the drivers of innovation in fintech, healthtech, edtech and others. Foundry for HER seeks to close this gap by offering female founders practical know-how and access to resources needed to develop scalable businesses.

The organisers stated, “This is more than just a bootcamp—it’s a launchpad for women who want to create real impact in their communities.”

The 2025 Online Bootcamp will offer Hands-on learning on constructing, scaling and growing tech-based businesses; Mentoring by experienced mentors and industry experts; Support in investor readiness, including practice in pitching and business model development; Networking with fellow peers and potential co-founders; and an opportunity to win the $50,000 non-dilutive grant to scale their business.

The applications are invited from female or co-founders of technology-based companies; Nigerian-based startups; Early-stage and growth-stage businesses across industries; Startups with scalable and innovative solutions that contribute to positive change; and Founders are willing to actively engage in online sessions.
