Francesca Antenucci Joins Millennium as Head of HR Operations

Francesca Antenucci has been appointed as Head of HR Operations for EMEA & Americas Millennium, where she will drive human resources operations across two major regions, helping to build a strong people function, enhance employee experience and support scalable HR processes for the firm's global staff. Francesca has over 17 years of international HR experience, including HR leadership, workforce planning, HR transformation and talent management. Francesca has extensive knowledge of creating HR strategies that are people centric and aligned to long-term business success.

Prior to joining Millennium, Francesca was the Head of HR and Organisation and Executive Committee Member at Generali. During the time, she was a strategic advisor to the executive leadership and the Board, and played a key role in enterprise-wide workforce planning, cultural shifts, HR strategy, and organizational design. She contributed to the leadership capability, the effectiveness of the organisation and the scaling of people practices to support sustainable business performance. Her effective leadership helped to build more effective organizational structures and correlate the placement of personnel with the changing business goals.

Prior to that, Francesca held several key leadership roles at Bloomberg LP, where she gained extensive experience in HR roles and business operations across the globe. Most recently, she was the Global Human Resources Business Partner, working with senior business partners and functions, Legal, Compliance, Finance, HR, and External Relations. As a strategic HR specialist, she led HR strategic projects ranging from leadership development, organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, change management, employee engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion.

Francesca also assumed the leadership of employee lifecycle operations, HR advisory services and cross-functional partnerships at Global People Services for EMEA & LATAM, implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiencies and optimise HR service delivery across the various regions. As a leader, she dedicated herself to enhancing the employee journey, streamlining HR processes, and fostering business expansion through effective people management.

Her journey continued with her becoming the manager of Contracts & Exchanges for EMEA & APAC, Exchange Market Data for the Americas and Contracts teams for EMEA. In these roles, Francesca was able to acquire a wealth of international experience in managing geographically complex teams, leading operational transformation projects, and providing complex business projects across global markets.

Francesca's proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering business results through people-led leadership has been recognised for her work in organisational transformation, workforce planning, business partnering and HR operations. Throughout her career, she has prioritized the empowerment of employees, collaboration, workplace culture, and building scalable HR frameworks that, in turn, support sustainable growth.
