Gabriela Quirós Mathies takes the helm as Chair of the Board at Voces Vitales El Salvador. Voces Vitales is an international non-governmental organization that invests in emerging women leaders and social entrepreneurs.

As the organization enters into a new chapter, Gabriela will advance initiatives that promote leadership, self-reliance, and opportunity access. This will support the financial advancement and well-being of Salvadoran women, alongside a call for institutions and the public to engage in this collaborative effort.

In her current role as Vice President and Strategic Advisor at the Network Company, Gabriela sees the appointment as an opportunity to contribute her expertise in sectors like finance, sustainability, and investment banking. Throughout her career, she has emphasized the need to expand access to practical financial education tools and support for women.

Part of the Vital Voices Global Partnership network, the organization empowers women tackling some of the world’s most hard hitting challenges. The organization’s road map for 2026-2027 is centred on strengthening professional women and MSME leaders, with a target to extend its reach to 800-1000 more beneficiaries.

Through this the organization plans to enhance its capacity-building efforts around artificial intelligence and its application across personal and business environments. It will also promote financial literacy and well-being through practical tools in budgeting, behavioural finance, mentorship, portfolio development, and networking.
