Global Gaming Women (GGW) has named Siobhan Lane, Group Chief Executive of Gaming at Light & Wonder Inc, president and board chair.
GGW is a non-profit membership-based trade body focusing on developing professionals in the gaming segment with women sourced from different sectors.
Siobhan is a past first vice president at GGW. Brandi Ellis, a senior gaming executive, is appointed as first vice president, while Adriana Kasunic, who is vice president of people operations at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, is appointed as second vice president. Julie Woodruff, who is vice president of finance at Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee, is also appointed as board secretary.
The appointments of the new leadership will be effective from January 1, 2026, and will expire in 2028. Siobhan takes over Lauren Bates, who is the Vice President of Sales for Light & Wonder, after serving a two-year term as the president of GGW.
According to prepared statements, Siobhan is looking forward to working to meet the organization’s mission of supporting and developing women in the gaming sector.
Lauren thanked Siobhan for what she had brought to the organisation, specifically in regard to education, which had seen an extension of programmes and reach for GGW. Bates also thanked the membership, supporters, board, and volunteers of GGW for their support.
During Lauren’ time as President, GGW recorded growth in membership, programme developments, and an extension of their education events to other countries.
