Hofstra University to Host International Women's Conference

• The International Women's Conference (IWC) will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York
• The event will mark International Women’s Day with a daylong program

Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY will host the International Women’s Conference (IWC) on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10 am to 5 pm. The IWC is focused primarily on women leaders, activists and entrepreneurs and will examine how women lead, create culture and pass down their legacy through the lens of the 2026 theme “HER VOICE, HER CULTURE, HER LEGACY, HER POWER.”

The conference will examine how women use their unique influence and ability to lead within business, government, media and education.

For many years this conference has also provided a platform for women across various industries to connect and find their voice through opportunities to build upon their leadership and empowerment skills. The IWC 2026 Conference will also continue this mission while focusing on inspiring women to take action by providing a number of event opportunities for networking and guest speakers.

Among the confirmed speakers are New York State Senator Siela A. Bynoe, who will talk about leadership roles of women in society, and Dr. Justina Mutale, an international advocate who will focus her discussion on sustainable opportunities for women and girls.

Other speakers to be featured at the event are Christine Rice, an entrepreneur who founded Brandfluencia, Ama K. Karikari, Esq., who is the president of Milestales Project Staffing, Renee Flagler, president of National CARES, who shall talk about branding, inclusion, mentoring, and empowerment of the community. In this regard, there shall be an exhibit of community voices by Pat Robinson, the owner of “Conversations on The Block.”
