The business assistance organization Inspirent, located in Hamilton, is about to start a new project with the goal of fostering the next wave of prosperous female business owners. The Women Can Grow Community will start offering monthly peer-to-peer support to women entrepreneurs in Glasgow and Lanarkshire who want to expand their businesses on June 5.
The success of Inspirent's initial Women Can Grow program, which aided female-led start-ups and garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants—many of whom called it life-changing—is being built upon by this new initiative. Liz McCutcheon, CEO of Inspirent, stressed the significance of maintaining the fervor and momentum of these women by providing ongoing access to useful peer networks and practical support.
With the help of the £700,000 Ecosystem Fund from the Scottish Government, the project seeks to maintain these entrepreneurs' motivation and connections. Future sessions will concentrate on particular business growth strategies, with the first event taking place at the Voco Grand Central Hotel. Inspirent invites all female entrepreneurs to become members and take advantage of the improved networking opportunities as it plans to grow the community. Since 1987, Inspirent, a renowned pioneer in the industry, has helped more than 20,000 SMEs expand and supported more than 50,000 start-ups.
