ISWA Hosts Celebration Highlighting Women's Empowerment in Perth

The celebration of Women's Day, which focuses on empowering and supporting women, took place in Perth, Australia, through a program offered by ISWA (Indian Society of Western Australia). Attending this special event were local members of Perth’s Indian community as well as the Consulate General of India.

Naari Shakti (Women Power) was the theme of the event, recognizing   contributions within the society. Many artistic performances were also showcased from different cultures and art forms, demonstrating the excellent achievements of women.

Women entrepreneurs have participated at this event, demonstrating increasingly essential roles in our society through their contributions to economic and social activity.

Representatives from various levels of government attended this remarkable event, including Amber-Jade Sanderson, Basil Zempilas, Parwinder Kaur, Ayor Makur Chuot, Yaz Mubarakai, and Jags Krishnan.

This day of celebration for women was established by individuals who organize events which promote awareness, inclusion, and empowerment among women. Those in attendance could recognize the importance of women and how their contributions have been celebrated at this event.
