During the SBC Summit Lisbon 16-18 September 2025, SBC will organize the second edition of its Women Empowerment (WE) Initiative program.

During the first two days of the summit, SBC will host four exclusive networking events specifically created to empower women within the international gaming and betting sector.

One major event will be An Evening of Empowerment & Community, which will be held in the evening of September 16 at the River Lounge within Myriad by SANA. Participants will be able to interact with global associations, learn from effective initiatives, and network with fellow women in the sector.

Besides the core WE Initiative program, the summit includes three other events dedicated to women in gaming:

Women in Gaming (WiG) Africa – Friends & Allies Networking Drinks: On September 16 at Food Festival 6, the event is an invitation to women and allies to join together for a group toast, seeking to build bridges between African professionals and the global gaming community.

Association of Women in the Gaming Industry (AMIG) Happy Hour a relaxed get-together with open bar and live music will take place on 17 September at the BetBoom booth, C150.

Founded by Brazilian women, the AMIG is an association to support and strengthen female participation, to celebrate their achievements and help to strengthen leadership in the sector.

Global Gaming Women (GGW) Breakfast Meet-Up: Taking place on September 17 between Halls 1 and 2 and sponsored by Segev LLP, the GGW breakfast offers a space for women to discuss their careers, share insights, and learn about mentoring opportunities.
