JLL appoints Tracy Souris as Rozelle Bay General Manager

JLL has appointed Tracy Souris to the role of General Manager – Rozelle Bay to lead two of Sydney Harbour's most popular recreational boating havens – Sydney Superyacht Marina and Sydney Boathouse Dry Stack and Marina. After a transition period with the current management team for two months, she will officially take over the role on 1 September.

It is a significant milestone in Tracy’s long career in the Australian marine industry. She has over 14 years of combined experience in marina operations, property asset management, construction, and waterfront development, and is known for her commercial experience, operational leadership and strategic management of marina assets.

“It's a fantastic opportunity to share this really exciting news and it's really close to my professional strengths and it's really close to my passion which is Sydney Harbour and the recreational boating industry,” Souris said.

This endowment combines my love of the Sydney Harbour foreshore, leadership, operations, development and the boating industry, and I look forward to working with our clients, tenants and stakeholders, building on the excellent foundations that have been laid.

Tracy will be responsible for the running, customer interaction, asset performance and long-term growth of Sydney Superyacht Marina and Sydney Boathouse facilities. The move has been part of JLL's ongoing efforts to build leadership in its marina and waterfront property portfolio, improve customer experience and operational excellence.

The transfer comes on the heels of another historic milestone for Tracy this year. She was elected President of the Boating Industry Association (BIA) in May 2026, and became the first female President of the BIA. The election was seen as a first for Australia's recreational boating industry as the board of the association was confident that she would lead their industry and bring the confidence and knowledge of the industry to the table.

Tracy’s career has consistently been dedicated to supporting the development and sustainability of Australia's recreational marine industry. She has continually been involved with industry stakeholders to foster collaboration, and also supporting innovation and professionalism development in marina management and marine operations.

In addition to her operational successes, Souris has been a voice for the increased role of women throughout the boating industry. She has been a strong advocate for women in the marina industry and has helped bring exposure to the various career paths available in the recreational marine industry such as marina management, marine trades, administration, governance and executive leadership.

She brings together several of the attributes that have been prominent in her career: stakeholder engagement, managing properties, delivering operations excellence, developing waterfront property, and strategic leadership. The skills are expected to be vital in the ongoing development of Sydney's largest marina facilities managed by JLL.

Tracy' appointment is considered good news for JLL and Australia's marine industry as there is a significant demand for leaders with operational experience and a passion for industry development.
