JPMorganChase Appoints Sili Jacobson as Home Lending CAO

Sili Jacobson has been appointed as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Home Lending at JPMorganChase, marking another significant milestone in her accomplished career spanning more than 30 years in financial services, enterprise transformation, operations, and strategic leadership. As part of her new role she will assume administrative and strategic leadership for the support of the firm's Home Lending business with particular emphasis on the operational excellence, business efficiency and organizational effectiveness of the business.

Sili has a proven track record of leading transformation efforts, establishing technology platforms, and optimizing business operations within large financial services firms, having worked with a number of institutions over the years, including AIG, Prudential, and CoreLogic. Her selection underscores the rise of women leaders who have become a presence in the future of the banking industry worldwide.

Prior to her new role, Sili was Executive Director, Chief of Staff – Home Lending, collaborating with the most senior members of leadership to drive strategic priorities, manage enterprise initiatives, and lead business transformation within the division. She also held the role of Executive Director – Business Management – Home Lending, where she was responsible for operational planning and business management to enhance organizational performance. Previously, she served as Executive Director and Chief of Staff – Consumer Originations, where she helped with strategic initiatives and efficiencies across the consumer lending business.

Prior to joining JPMorganChase in 2020, Sili worked for over 15 years at Bank of America in various senior leadership roles related to enterprise transformation, mortgage servicing, regulatory efforts, technology modernization and strategic business operations.

She held the following senior leadership positions: Strategic Initiatives and Engagement Executive, CCAR Program Management Office Lead, Operational Readiness Executive – Mortgage Servicing & Operations, Representation & Warranty Strategy Executive, Credit Loss Mitigation Strategies Business Operations Executive, Mortgage Servicing Technology – Service Delivery Executive, Mortgage Operations Transition Executive. During her career, she led business integration programs, regulatory compliance programs, and operational improvement programs that increased efficiency, improved governance technology modernization programs and customer experience.

Prior to that, Sili worked at Amgen as Associate Director – Enterprise Infrastructure & Applications where she led enterprise technology programs. She also served for almost 14 years as Senior Manager at Accenture, providing business strategy, process design, integration of technology, organizational development and change management advisory services to top financial institutions and insurance companies. Her consulting experience encompassed firms like American Express, Washington Mutual, Wells Fargo, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Bank of America.

To further enhance her leadership skills, Sili earned an Executive MBA (ABMP) from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, giving her an in-depth understanding of executive leadership and business strategy.

Both Sili and JPMorganChase have yet to make a public comment on the appointment, but her move to Chief Administrative Officer demonstrates a trust in her broad leadership experience and proven track record of leading business transformation. With her talent as a woman executive leader, Sili continues to provide insights on how she is helping to shape financial services' future through strategic leadership, operational acumen, and innovation, and is inspiring the next generation of women leaders in financial services.
