Lady Gaga was awarded the 2026 Grammy Award Best Pop Vocal Album for her most recent album titled, Mayhem.
Despite the strong competition she faced from other nominees including Justin Bieber (Swag), Miley Cyrus (Something Beautiful), Teddy Swims (I Tried Everything But Therapy Pt 2), and Sabrina Carpenter (Man's Best Friend), who won the previous year's award, Lady Gaga triumphed.
In her emotional acceptance speech, Lady Gaga graciously thanked everyone involved in the making of her album.
She expressed her appreciation for her long-time love Michael, who has supported her throughout the making of her album. "I love you so much, you have been with me every day," said Lady Gaga.
In her speech, Gaga also discussed how women face many challenges within the music industry, particularly where there is an overabundance of males. She encouraged women to listen to themselves, fight for their ideas and be heard.
Gaga went on to say, "Mayhem represents discipline and hard work." Gaga now has two Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Album, having previously received this award in 2011 with her first win for Best Pop Vocal Album (The Fame Monster). Additionally, earlier this morning, Gaga won two other Grammy Awards - Best Dance Pop Recording and her first.
