For more than 10 years, she worked within the Natixis IM ecosystem at Mirova and later at DNCA Finance as Head of Responsible Investment and ESG Portfolio Manager. Her leadership is set to drive the company's continued capability to provide long-term sustainable investment solutions and focus funds on projects that promote environmental and social transitions.

It is only natural that we promote a capable internal executive to the head of Mirova, as her career has been a clear proof of the success of our multi-affiliate model by providing our professionals with an outstanding environment to develop by leveraging the diversity of our top-tier asset management companies and the support and stability of the international group,” Philippe Setbon, the Chief Executive Officer of Natixis Investment Managers, announced in announcing his appointment.

Philippe also pointed out Mirova's status as a major international market player in sustainable finance and the strategic asset of Natixis IM and Groupe BPCE in terms of responsible investing. Under Lea's leadership, I can see Mirova continuing to grow over the long term in accordance with its mission and the priorities of our VISION 2030 strategic plan, he said. He also expressed his gratitude to the outgoing CEO, Philippe Zaouati, for his vision and constant drive, which helped make Mirova one of the pioneers in sustainable finance in the last 14 years.

Lea started her career in 2005 at Oddo Securities in extra-financial analysis and joined Sycomore Asset Management in 2010 to take the lead in ESG Management and in the elaboration of an innovative model for integrating sustainable development. In 2015, she joined Mirova as Head of Equity Management, and in 2018 she joined the DNCA Finance team to create and drive the responsible investment team and launch the company's first sustainable investment funds.

At a critical moment in Mirova's evolution, its teams are dedicated and their expertise is unique to delivering on investor expectations of sustainability and long-term performance. Given the amount of financing that is needed to drive global transitions, Mirova has a critical role to play in redirecting investment toward projects that generate sustainable value,” commented Lea Dunand-Chatellet on her appointment. She also believed that the firm is well-equipped to remain a leader in sustainable investing and provide long-term value for clients.
