Lynn Al Khatib Appointed as New Board Member of Global Women in PR MENA

GWPR MENA is pleased to welcome Lynn Al Khatib, Vice President of Communications for Chalhoub Group, as its newest board member. With over 15 years of experience, Lynn is a highly experienced communications professional who has continued to promote women's empowerment in her working career.

Assessing her passion, Lynn said, "As a strong believer in fostering women's leadership in PR, I feel honored to become a board member of Global Women in PR MENA and be part of its visionary impact to empower and elevate the status of women in the communications industry. Communications today plays a more significant role in establishing brands, organizations, and thought leaders. Agency-side or in-house, we must continue to evolve in order to provide genuine value."

In a time when traditional career development paths are changing, I am thrilled to be able to contribute back to women and the industry through this inspiring board. Lynn's appointment follows a time of accelerated growth for GWPR MENA, which today celebrates 100 members, highlighting its dedication to promoting female leadership across the region's communications industry.

GWPR is a global not-for-profit professional organization dedicated to networking and enabling senior women communication professionals. The MENA chapter of GWPR offers an inclusive platform to exchange knowledge, drive solutions to business issues, make tangible results, and develop women leadership in the profession. Taking tangible action, GWPR MENA enables women to be agents of change and architects of the future of the profession.

The GWPR MENA board is made up of six experienced women from diverse agency, in-house, and consultancy backgrounds that bring with them a rich depth of experience and also a common interest in supporting gender equality and leadership in the communications industry. Existing board members are Loretta Ahmed (Founder and CEO, Houbara Communications – Chair), Louise Jacobson (Managing Director, Brazen MENA), Naamat Baradhy (Regional Communication Advisor, First Abu Dhabi Bank), Radwa Allabban (Founder and Managing Director, Place Communications), Purti Simon (Vice President, Teneo), and recently appointed Lynn Al Khatib (Vice President, Communications, Chalhoub Group).

GWPR MENA welcomes women in top leadership roles with over 10 years of professional experience, offering members a resource for career building, global networking, mentorship programs, and a shared voice for positive change.

Global Women in PR is an international membership organization dedicated to promoting, connecting, and mentoring women in senior-level PR and communications roles.
