Manulife Names Bonnie Qiu CEO of Global High-Net-Worth Business

  • Manulife announced two new appointments for its global high-net-worth business in Asia
  • Bonnie Qiu was appointed as CEO, Global High-Net-Worth, and Chief Partnership Distribution Officer, Asia

 

Manulife announced two new leadership positions to enhance their Global High-Net-Worth (GHNW) business and improve their distribution network across all of Asia on December 1, 2020, with Bonnie Qiu taking over as the CEO, Global High-Net-Worth, & Head of Partnership Distribution in Asia, effective December 1.

As the CEO of GHNW, she will lead the Asia HNW business's strategic plan to develop life insurance solutions while continuing her role managing the Partnership Channel across Bancassurance, International Brokerage, and Digital Distribution Channels.

Bonnie will be replacing Jean Wong, who has been the CEO of GHNW since its founding in 2023. In addition to leading the GHNW business from the firm's inception through to the launch of its Dubai Office, Wong has been instrumental in establishing the GHNW business in 2023 and facilitating Manulife's entry into the Middle East region.

Invested into the Senior Leadership team of Manulife Asia is Rishi Srivastava who has previously served as Chief Agency Officer for the company and was responsible for driving the agency transformation initiative by focusing on the areas of Training, Quality of Recruitment, Development of Leadership and Using Technology to Drive Productivity within the Agency Distribution Channel.
