Nevin Aslan-Özkan had taken over Managing Director of Continental Tires India on April 6, 2026 after Samir Gupta resigned from the position for personal reasons on April 5.
Nevin has been with Continental since 2017 and has held numerous positions in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategy, and Business Development across the EMEA and APAC regions. He was named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Continental Tires India in May 2025 with dual responsibilities for both Finance and Strategy.
In her new role, she will oversee all functions of Continental Tires India in India and also develop the company's portfolio in the Passenger Vehicle segment.
This organizational change is consistent with Continental's overall strategy in response to the current and continuing changes within the Automotive Industry.
Samir joined Continental in 2012 and served as Managing Director during the execution of their expansion strategy focused on the Indian Automotive market.
In parallel to the leadership changes, Continental Tires India is investing in product launches and expansions to its portfolio.
Recently, Continental Tires India launched the CrossContact A/T² tire within the SUV and 4×4 segments of its portfolio, which will premiere in India as their first market before becoming available globally.
Additionally, Continental Tires India has announced plans to invest approximately €10.5 million to expand their offering within the Passenger Vehicle segment.
