Ovum and AKQA have jointly announced a strategic partnership deal aimed at enhancing women’s health solutions with AI.
Ovum would be incorporating its intelligent health platform with AKQA’s creativity and innovation capabilities.
Ovum, founded by medical doctor-turned-entrepreneur, Dr. Ariella Heffernan-Marks, aims to support women in taking control of health and wellbeing.
As an AI companion, the Ovum app monitors cycles, compiles symptom information, synthesizes wearable insights, records medical information, and analyzes data to empower women with health knowledge. A ‘gender health gap’ solution also benefits from longitudinal data acquisition.
As a part of its plan for growth, Ovum has joined forces with AKQA Australia with the goal of improving brand recognition, adoption, and product trial.
The new collaboration will specifically work on developing creative campaigns within digital, PR, and social channels. A large brand project will take place on International Women’s Day in 2026.
Justine Leong, Managing Director at AKQA Australia, said, “This partnership fits perfectly with AKQA’s ambitions and mission, which include using creativity and innovation as tools to empower women. It’s great that a group of women creatives have been involved with Women Not Numbers.”
According to Ovum’s Chief Marketing Officer, Stefanie DiGianvincenzo, “This collaboration is an embodiment of its mission and it aims to make its Ovum app ‘a trusted companion for women on matters of women’s health.”
AKQA Australia will again partner with Ovum as it expands its mission working with women at various points throughout her health journey.
