Almost 200 women throughout the Phoenix community met on Friday for the Better Business Bureau's 8th Annual Industrious Women's Summit, a showcase event focused on education, networking, and woman empowerment for women in traditionally male industries.
The summit this year, "Women Pioneering Progress," was hosted by the Let ABC15 Know crew and brought businesswomen and entrepreneurs together for a day of sharing, learning, and networking.
Attendees participated in sessions that covered a range of themes, from the uses of artificial intelligence in small business, leadership, managing money, and legal protection for entrepreneurs.
“I really enjoy being in rooms filled with incredible women building incredible things,” said attendee Andi Hess, a hypnotherapist and small business owner from Chandler.
“Events like these bring together all the right people, especially locally here in the Valley. Since COVID, we’ve missed this kind of community connection, and coming back together makes our local ecosystem stronger.”
The summit was a combination of training workshops and networking events, with the aim of inspiring, empowering, and uniting women leaders in an attempt to enable them to continue succeeding at their business and in their communities.
