Recruitment of participants for the initial group of the REDpreneur Women project in the Ukraine has been finalized. This project aims to assist women veterans in their business development activities.

As indicated in the article by the Red Cross of Ukraine, the group of women in the first batch is those aiming to either establish their own ventures or those who are going to develop social projects that are concentrated on benefiting the community.

The level of interest showed the need for women veterans in gaining assistance pertaining to their transition into civilian life.

Participants in the program will benefit from entrepreneurship education, mentorship from experienced professionals, interaction with a network of peers, and the opportunity to utilize possible grant funds for the development and/or incubation of business ideas.

The REDpreneur Women project is implemented by the Red Cross in Ukraine together with the Austrian Red Cross, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs in Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Veterans Fund with the support of the NACHBAR IN NOT Foundation in Austria and the Austrian Development Agency.

The training and mentoring component is implemented with the involvement of the Ukrainian Future Business Incubator.
