The collaboration, a part of the SCALE’HER Accelerator Program, is expected to facilitate the empowerment of female entrepreneurs by helping them build robust businesses, navigate legalities and position themselves for sustainable growth and expansion.

The program is scheduled for a nine-month duration starting off in September 2026 using an organized development approach. The participants are subject to six months of accelerated training, followed by three months of mentoring sessions. As per the collaboration, REVERA will offer legal guidance to women entrepreneurs and companies participating in the program. It will cover aspects from growth and expansion of their businesses in terms of raising funds and geographical location and expansion.

  • The nine-month accelerator aims to support 60 women-led IT projects across Europe
  • Legal experts will guide founders on fundraising, IP protection and market expansion

Inna Semyonova, Senior Associate at REVERA law group commented, “For deep-tech companies, the legal dimension is not merely a matter of compliance. At the scale-up stage, it is directly linked to investment readiness, technology protection, the structuring of partner relationships and entry into new markets. We are delighted to partner with SCALE’HER and to share with founders the practical experience that helps businesses grow with these factors in mind from the outset.”

The key focus of the program is on funding and capital raising, finances, leadership skills, and strategic positioning within the business. It also targets companies that have passed the technology validation stage and aim to improve their commercial and operational performance.

SCALE'HER is Horizon Europe-supported project which aims at providing opportunities for women entrepreneurs in Europe's strategic digital and deep-tech ecosystems. With partner organizations from nine countries, this project is aimed at working with 60 women-founded IT companies. The goal of this project is to provide founders with the necessary knowledge, means and business assistance to bring their businesses forward.

The legal issues surrounding business growth are vital for female founders. As start-ups evolve, there is an increasing number of legal requirements concerning governance and founding relationships, intellectual property, investments, and other contracts. Legal issues associated with expanding into new regions must also be considered by start-ups founders. Legal counseling is an integral part of early-stage and growth-stage technology ventures where legal preparedness is required for securing funding and forging commercial relationships.

In order to help start-ups meet such demands, the founders will gain practical tips regarding identification of legal threats, legal considerations, and overall business knowledge. A key component of the program is its international collaboration through which participants can leverage an international ecosystem comprising of entrepreneurs, investors, industrial experts, and innovation ecosystems. Its target audience includes women-owned deep-tech startups at TRL 6-9. The startups are currently interacting with the market and planning to raise funds within the next year.
