Amal Al-Haddabi, the chairwoman of the Jordanian Emirati Business Women Council, and other board members met with Yousef Issawi, the chief of the Royal Hashemite Court (RHC), on Tuesday to discuss ways to improve collaboration between businesswomen in the UAE and Jordan.
His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have fostered strong and historic ties between the two countries, which Issawi praised. He emphasized how closely Jordan and the UAE work together, especially in the social and economic spheres.
He hoped the Council would develop into a vital forum for fostering knowledge sharing, growing economic ties, and assisting female entrepreneurs in both nations. He also praised the increasing presence of Arab and Jordanian women in the business world.
Issawi highlighted the noteworthy accomplishments of Jordanian women in a variety of fields, attributing these developments to His Majesty's overarching reform agenda. He reiterated the Royal Court's dedication to assisting significant projects and offering complete support for the Council's accomplishments.
Amal Al presented the Council's plans to increase collaboration in critical areas, particularly in fields that are driven by innovation like technology and artificial intelligence. She observed a change in emphasis from merely empowering women to enabling them to play a significant role in the economy.
She went on to say that the Council is committed to helping new businesses, boosting the number of women working in the private sector, and establishing an inclusive, sustainable, and long-term growth-oriented business environment.
Al-Haddabi and the Council members wished the country more growth and prosperity as they concluded the meeting by congratulating His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Jordanian people on their Independence Day.
