Shinhan Bank has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Federation of Women Entrepreneurs to promote the growth of women's businesses.
On November 4th, the bank announced that a business agreement was signed the day before at its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Through this alliance, both organizations will engage in collaborative efforts to create a foundation to improve women's entrepreneurship through financial and consulting support, as well as a system of cooperation in financial and non-financial areas.
A Shinhan Bank representative said the program has sustainable growth as the goal for women-owned businesses, and will provide additional support in the future so that more female business leaders will be involved in generating jobs and economic growth.
The Korea Federation of Women Entrepreneurs is an economic organization that was established in 1999 and has approximately 10,000 member companies and 20 regional chapters across Korea.
