The Forum, a Canadian non-profit platform honoured this year’s top three pitch finalists with $44,420 CAD, each to catalyze their next phase of growth on April 25, 2025. The Forum channels over $150,000 into three female-founded businesses, fueling their path to market traction and long-term success.
The three finalists drive disruption in key impact sectors. Dr. Shari van de Pol of CATTLEytics introduces a fully integrated intelligent system that connects on-farm prioritizes with real-time performance metrics. Ibukun Elebute and CT Murphy of CELLECT Laboratories are developing an innovative diagnostic device that reimagines that process of cervical health screening through passive, lab-ready technology. Lianna Genovese of ImaginAble Solutions champions assistive devices that significantly improve quality of life for individuals with mobility challenges in their hands.
The event sets a new benchmark, raising a record-breaking $1.3 million to support and scale women-led ventures across Canada. Held at JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, The Forum’s 2025 Odlum Brown Pitch Finale brought together a full-capacity audience of 800 to understand the mission of scaling women-led businesses across Canada.
The Odlum Brown Forum Pitch offers mentorship, education, and funding, to drive women-led businesses. This initiative is further strengthened by the support of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada and Trusted partners like COuntDown Events.
The Forum’s top three finalists presented their ventures to a capacity crowd of business leaders and stakeholders. ImagineABle Solutions was awarded an extra $20,000 prize package through live audience voting, made possible by Wheaton Precious Metals.
