Vietnam bestowed the title of Labour Hero on entrepreneur Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao on the 27th of December at the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress for her constant contributions in various fields.

The award is also indicative of the new generation of businesspeople in Vietnam, who are known for their globalisation, technology, social responsibilities, and national development.

For more than three decades, Dr. Nguyen has been engaged in important sectors of the economy, such as aviation, finance and banking, investment, and technology.

Her efforts have been focused on the principles of innovation, technology-enabled growth, and the integration of the expansion of businesses with the interests of the nation.
