The ASEAN Women Economic Forum (WEF) 2026 in the Philippines gathered female leaders from throughout Southeast Asia and beyond to engage in a dialogue titled "Insights on Women." The discussion centered on the Forum's mission of Inclusive Leadership, Collaboration, and Empowerment.

The four panelists included Maricor Malitao (G100 Global Chair for Business and Chambers Partnership; Executive Vice President of ASEAN 2026 WEF Philippines), Hartini Osman (G100 Club Global President; President of ASEAN 2026 WEF), Raneses Bustamante–Raneses (Advisor to the WEF Council), and Amielyn Limbona (former Commissioner and Country Chair of ASEAN 2026 WEF Philippines).

Each of the panelists shared their opinions regarding the changing dynamics of women leaders by analysing the effect that global cooperation, digital transformation, and purpose-driven initiatives have had on creating more inclusive economic growth.

Maricor provided insight into the need for local enterprises to link with global market opportunities while increasing access to networks that support sustainable development. Osman spoke to the importance of women leaders uniting and collaborating across national boundaries.

Raneses demonstrated during the panel how imperative it is to align strategic vision with execution, while Amielyn reiterated the critical role of the Philippines in advancing the overall WEF agenda by providing context for ASEAN 2026 WEF.
