  • The funding will fund work on enhancing the way patients, physicians, and researchers deal with chronic health diseases

Australian health technology startup Human Health has raised $10.15 million in seed capital to build technology that seeks to enhance the way patients, physicians, and researchers deal with chronic disease.

The firm was started by Georgia Vidler and Kate Lambridis, who previously worked at Canva as Head of Product and Senior Product Manager, respectively.

Human Health presents itself as a platform that streamlines and explains the usually confusing and overwhelming medical information that exists around chronic diseases.

Patients and physicians, according to Georgia, find it difficult to separate useful and accurate medical information from the vast amounts of data and incorrect information.

Human Health aims to provide customized healthcare solutions by determining areas of lack in medical information, researching with physicians and patients, publishing findings, and incorporating discoveries into a scientific health monitoring product.

A smartphone app is also being created, intended to present users with research-based treatment alternatives while enabling them to participate in ongoing studies. The six-month-old startup, which has 18 employees including doctors, is still building its beta product.

The round was led by Airtree Ventures' Elicia McDonald with Skip Capital's Kim Jackson and Scott Farquhar-founded Skip Capital joining in. McDonald said she had faith in the mission of Human Health and, "We feel privileged to support them in making their vision a reality."

Human Health also added that this increase is the biggest seed funding round for all-Australian women founders. In spite of a downturn in investor appetite since early 2022, Human Health is part of a series of Australian startups raising successful rounds in 2025.
