WomenBizPH hosted the “WomenBizPH Trade Fair” from March 12-14 at SM Lanang Premier to highlight business women in micro, small, and medium enterprises while promoting their contributions towards shaping regional and local economies.

In collaboration with SM Supermalls, the 3-day event showcased a wide variety of products created by female entrepreneurs in the Philippines, including food, handmade jewelry, woven garments, specialty foods for healthy living, and more.

In addition to product sales, the event featured stories about entrepreneur's individual experiences and businesses, and demonstrated how creative thinking and skill set can be used by female business owners to maintain a stable workforce and community-oriented projects.

For example, Sassy's Creation Enterprise displayed multiple fashion-related products that incorporated traditional weaving techniques; upcycled products; and locally-produced textiles as their means of achieving both the commitment to sustainable and inclusive design practices.

Women creating these products are a group of artisans who work from their own homes to create products and develop sustainable and community-based business opportunities for themselves through their products.
