Christian Dior Couture and UNESCO held the fifth iteration of their Women@Dior and UNESCO Global Conference at UNESCO headquartered in Paris. The conference addressed urgent global priorities, including the professional outlook for emerging generations, equal educational opportunities, and the empowerment of women as influential role models.

Emerging female leaders from the Women@Dior program represented Dior’s guiding principles while engaging with senior mentors from LVMH, Dior, and UNESCO. Influential figure across industries contributed to multidimensional dialogues on advancing gender equality.

At the heart of this program there are five foundational values that shape its global impact: Self-awareness and well-being, autonomy, creative thinking, inclusive action and sustainable progress. The program welcomes students and young professionals from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, ranging from fashion and business to engineering and global affairs. It offers tailored mentorship by Dior employees, complemented by a digital learning platform on global challenges like gender equality, sustainability, and women’s leadership.

Mentees participate in the Dream for Change project, where they were tasked with applying their learning to real-world challenge. This final phase empowers participants to design and implement community-centric projects aimed at advancing gender equality and creating sustainable, local impact.

The Women@Dior initiative, established in 2017 has successfully impacted a diverse community of over 2,500 women from 140 nationalities through its global mentoring and learning framework. Dior collaborated with UNESCO to deliver its Women@Dior program free of charge to young women form eight countries, including Nigeria, Kenya, and the Philippines. It reflects the brand’s dedication to reduce the global education gap and investing in the potential of women from underrepresented and vulnerable communities.
