A. Technology has transformed what’s possible in the energy sector, and leadership today requires embracing that change. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on solutions that use digital tools and cleaner energy to evolve how Aggreko supports customers. Remote monitoring, intelligent controls, and data insights allow us to optimize performance in real time, improving reliability while reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

We are also integrating hybrid energy systems that combine traditional and renewable generation with battery storage to create more flexible solutions. These technologies allow us to rethink traditional operating models and better support our customers’ sustainability goals. By leaning into innovation, we’re building a business that is both resilient today and well-positioned for the future.

Q. From your experience across diverse regions, how do you adapt innovative strategies to local markets while maintaining a cohesive global vision for sustainable growth?

A. Energy challenges look very different depending on the region. Infrastructure, regulations, climate, and industry priorities all shape what customers need. At Aggreko, our role is to maintain a clear global strategy focused on reliability, sustainability, and innovation, while allowing local teams to tailor solutions to their markets. Our people closest to customers understand the practical realities they face, and that insight is invaluable.

At the same time, Aggreko’s global network allows us to share technology, expertise, and lessons learned across regions.

That balance between global alignment and local flexibility is key. It allows us to deliver consistent value while ensuring the solutions we provide are relevant, practical, and effective in every market we serve.

A. One of the biggest shifts has been fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Innovation doesn’t happen in silos. It happens when engineering, operations, digital teams, and commercial leaders work together toward a shared goal. We’ve worked hard to create an environment where teams feel empowered to explore new ideas while maintaining our core commitments to safety, reliability, and customer outcomes.

When employees understand how their work contributes to both financial performance and environmental progress, it creates stronger engagement and accountability. By investing in solutions like hybrid power systems, battery storage, and advanced energy management, we can help customers lower operating costs while improving reliability and reducing environmental impact. Staying closely connected to customer challenges is critical. When sustainability is embedded in solutions that solve real operational problems, it naturally supports both business performance and customer satisfaction. In a competitive and volatile market, the companies that succeed will be those that deliver solutions that are not only sustainable but also practical, reliable, and economically sound.
