AMWA & MedVeritas Global Partner to Advance Women's Health

The American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) has partnered with MedVeritas Global (MVG) to expand women’s health education, physician collaboration and international healthcare capacity building. The partnership connects AMWA’s expertise in women’s health with MVG’s digital platform to create new opportunities for physicians to collaborate across borders.

The collaboration will provide AMWA members with opportunities to join MedVeritas Global’s international physician network and participate in second-opinion consultations and related clinical initiatives. It is also expected to support cross-border mentorship, case-based knowledge exchange and professional networking among physicians.

A key focus of the partnership is advancing awareness and education around sex- and gender-based healthcare. AMWA clinicians will have opportunities to contribute their expertise to international educational initiatives while supporting efforts to strengthen local clinical capacity and improve patient care in different regions.

The organizations' mission is to eliminate geography as a barrier to medical knowledge and enhance the sharing of clinical experience, said Mariam Jashi, MD, MPH, MPA, Co-Founder of MedVeritas Global. The collaboration is expected to contribute to wider access to expertise and help to improve the quality of services provided to women around the world.

The agreement follows an MoU signed in Geneva on 29 May 2026 by the two organizations on the sidelines of the World Health Assembly. That agreement also provided for the cooperation in the exchange of medical expertise, awareness of women's health, international education and professional cooperation, including the participation of AVWA members in the professional network and second opinion of MVG.

AMWA was established in 1915 to further the education and promotion of women physicians and to promote the health of women. MedVeritas Global is dedicated to bridging the gap between patients and healthcare systems and specialist medical expertise across borders, including second opinion in the United States.
