Takaful International Company and Al Salam Specialist Hospital have joined hands to launch a month-long Women’s Health Campaign in Bahrain, marking the 25th anniversary of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).

The initiative is designed to support women’s health and wellbeing across the Kingdom. It is open to all women, including those without existing health insurance coverage, making the campaign accessible to a wider community.

Throughout September 2026, women can access special offers on various medical, diagnostic and preventive healthcare services at Al Salam Specialist Hospital. These include discounted physician consultations, dermatology and aesthetic assessments, screening mammography, surgical procedures and wellness packages.

Reema Nowrooz, Director of Family Takaful & Healthcare at Takaful International, said healthcare plays an important role in overall protection and wellbeing. She added that promoting women’s health reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the families and communities it serves.

In response to the changing needs of customers, Takaful International has continued to develop its services, with the launch of the Family Takaful and healthcare solutions, giving customer’s access to quality healthcare services easily, Reema added.

The company opened the campaign to both insured and uninsured women, she added, as we are dedicated to the community's wider needs. She also highlighted that the campaign is an occasion for celebrating women and recognizing the role of women and Bahrain's celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Supreme Council for Women.

Al Salam Specialist Hospital (ASPH) CEO Ahmed Al Sayed said women's health is an integral part of the health and wellbeing of the general public.

Al Salam Specialist Hospital is still dedicated to prevention and early detection initiatives and enhancing access to quality healthcare service, he said. In Bahrain, it's now collaborating with Takaful International, so women now have access to a wide range of healthcare services at an affordable price.

Al Sayed also explained that the program hopes to enable women to take preventive health measures and to be a significant part of their health journey by having regular check-ups.

He further referred to the campaign during the 25th anniversary of the Supreme Council for Women and the pioneering role played by the Council and its contribution in supporting women and promoting their participation in the Bahrain society. Al Salam Specialist Hospital will continue to be dedicated to high quality, patient-centered healthcare and will help build a healthier, more health-conscious community, he said.

The partnership brings together the strengths of an insurance provider and a healthcare provider to encourage women to take a more proactive approach to preventive care, early detection and overall health management.

The Women's Health Campaign will run from September 1 – September 30, 2026. Women who are interested in the packages can reach out to Al Salam Specialist Hospital at 13101010 for further information regarding packages, possible availability and appointments.
