Bending Spoons Opens 2026 Women in Computer Science Scholarships

• Bending Spoons has announced that applications are now open for the 2026 Women in Computer Science Scholarship
• Winners will be invited to a networking event to be held in Milan, Italy, in October

Bending Spoons has recently begun accepting applications for their 2026 Women in Computer Science Scholarship program.

They are awarding 20 scholarships worth €5,000 each to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in technology-related programs at universities throughout Europe and the UK. Additionally, all scholarship recipients will attend a two-day networking event in Milan this October, with travel and accommodations provided by Bending Spoons.

This is just one part of Bending Spoons' many initiatives aimed at talented technology students, including merit-based scholarships, networking opportunities for students, and student competitions.

"As a talent manager at Bending Spoons and lead for this scholarship program, I want to celebrate women who are going above and beyond in their work in computer science and help them shape the future of the field," said Eva Milenkovska, talent manager at Bending Spoons and lead for this scholarship program.

This will be Bending Spoons' fourth offering of the Women in Computer Science Scholarship. Previous awardees have continued their education and careers in the technology field.

One of the past awardees is now a research fellow at ETH Zürich and has stated that having more visibility of female technologists will help to promote the future growth of women in the field.
