BOTOX Cosmetic, part of Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company (NYSE: ABBV), has announced its 2026 class of The Confidence Collective: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs, a group of 250 women entrepreneurs to join its business development and mentorship program. The program will provide professional development and networking opportunities, mentorship, and financial assistance for women business owners to support and help them grow their businesses quickly.
The 2026 cohort was chosen from a range of competing applicant business concepts, backgrounds and industries. The choice of programs included demonstrates the increasing needs for programs to offer women entrepreneurs resources, guidance, and support to scale their venture and build their leadership capacity.
The program officially commenced with a virtual community summit held earlier this month. Key topics covered at the summit were business development, financial education, leadership development, and community building. The learning sessions were tailored to address some of the hurdles faced by entrepreneurs and provided opportunities to meet with other entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
After the summit, participants will attend an intensive multi-week “Boost Camp” providing specialized learning tracks, practical business tools and mentorship based on each individual business objective. The goal of the program is to provide entrepreneurs with practical solutions that they can implement to improve their operations, grow their business and continue to expand their market.
A major component of the initiative is the financial support available to selected participants. A total of 20 women entrepreneurs will be selected to get grants of $20,000 each from the 250 women entrepreneurs. A panel of Allergan Aesthetics executives and experienced aesthetic-industry entrepreneurs will base their decision on who to include in the grant recipients based on those who they feel will benefit from it. Recipients will be announced fall 2026.
In her remarks, Nicole Mowad-Nassar, AbbVie's Senior Vice President and President of Global Allergan Aesthetics, stated, “We are pleased to highlight and champion the stories and journeys of each of these founders in the months to come, as they bring their unique vision and voice to the program, and are here to build confidence, foster community, and propel their businesses forward.”
The panel includes Jennifer Cobbs of SkinLab Atlanta, Dr. Lisa Espinoza, founder of La Chelé Medical Aesthetics and Wellness, Dr. Lycia Thornburg, founder of Lycia Thornburg, M.D. Dermatology, Neekan Rivera, founder of Aère Aesthetics, and Shawna Chrisman, founder of Destination Aesthetics Medical Spa™ and Chief Aesthetics Officer at Advanced MedAesthetic Partners.
Reflecting on the program’s impact, Shawna Chrisman stated, "Being around other women entrepreneurs who support and believe in each other, I am inspired and motivated to go forward with my entrepreneurial journey. As a woman entrepreneur, I know how impactful this program is and I have seen it firsthand.”
BOTOX Cosmetic remains dedicated to women entrepreneurs, and with The Confidence Collective, it continues to make education, mentorship, support and funding more readily available to help turn business aspirations into sustainable growth and success.
