The Agricultural Development Agreement (ADA) between the Business and Technology University (BTU) and India’s ADGA EXIM LLP aims to provide women working in agricultural businesses with skills and knowledge through education, training, and development, and to increase their capacity to manage and grow their businesses.
The BTU and the ADGA will work together to support women business owners in the agricultural industry, provide solutions to be used in the agricultural technology industry, increase awareness of climate-smart agricultural practices, and increase capacity in entrepreneurship for the blue-collar workforce in the agricultural industry.
The first implementation of this project will occur in Georgia and India; however, they intend to expand operations into the South Caucasus, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.
To achieve their mission, BTU and ADGA will implement collaborative educational initiatives, reskilling and training programs, exchanges of trainers and mentors, and exchanges of international experts; infuse seminars, workshops, webinars, and conferences into their partnership; and work collaboratively on cooperative research and innovation projects in the area of sustainable agriculture, supporting female entrepreneurs through provide access to networks and mentorship; and develop bidirectional opportunities for trade and market entry between Georgia and India.
