Cartier Thailand and Chulalongkorn University jointly hosted recognition ceremony for graduates of the Cartier Women’s Initiative (CWI) Entrepreneurial program. The event took place on May 8, 2025, at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok. The program’s intensive six-week curriculum focused on growth and social impact.
CWI serves as a global platform for entrepreneurial impact. In Thailand, the program has evolved into a tailored learning experience. The CWI program is designed to strengthen the capabilities of social entrepreneurs through practical skills development and strategic insights.
Participants gain the knowledge and tools needed to grow their ventures beyond domestic markets, with the added opportunity to become future contenders for the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards. The overarching objective is to empower Thai social entrepreneurs to deliver sustainable, purpose-driven impact on a global scale.
The event was officiated by Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, with certificated presented to graduates. Ms. Pornpreya Vivadhnajat, Manging Director of Cartier Thailand, delivered the welcome address, followed by congratulations from Ms. Yanina Novitskaya, CEO of Cartier Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Ms. Pornpreya, affirmed the CWI Entrepreneurial program’s role in equipping socially conscious entrepreneurs with the tools and mindset needed to build impactful, sustainable businesses. As Cartier Women’s Initiative celebrates its 20th anniversary, Ms. Yanina, announced that Thailand will host the 2026 awards ceremony.
Professor Dr. Wilert underscored the significance of the 26 graduates as changemakers who exemplify entrepreneurial leadership with purpose. Applications for the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards 2026 are open now through June 24, 2025.
