FIRA USA Debuts Award Honoring Women in AgRobotics

• Women in AgRobotics of the Year Award to debut at FIRA USA 2025

The newly launched Women in AgRobotics of the Year Award is set to be presented at FIRA USA, 2025. The event will be recognizing trailblazing women whose innovation and leadership is paving way forward for the agricultural robotics industry. The event will take place in Woodland, CA from October 21-23.

Serving as a platform to highlight women and amplify their voices in becoming meaningful contributors leading in ag-robotics, the award aims to inspire many other women leaders. The event calls for celebration of women founders, farmers, researchers, and beyond, who shine their light and influence to spark inspiration.

Selection of the award will be entrusted to a jury of respected women leaders who bring deep knowledge of agriculture and ag-tech. Among the 2025 panel are Antoon Vanderstraeten, Paige Gilligan, Chrissy Wozniak, and Melinda Taschetta-Millane, each representing leading women-focused organizations in the sector.

The recipient of the Women in AgRobotics of the Year Award will be honored with an official FIRA USA trophy, stage recognition at the event, and visibility across FIRA USA’s platforms. The winner will receive media coverage in industry outlets, opportunities to collaborate with partner organizations, and additional benefits like mentorships and professional resources.

The award invites nominations of women leaders driving change through innovation, strategy, or influence. Women can put themselves forward or be nominated by colleagues.
