Locus Robotics has promoted Gina Chung to the position of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). This elevation is a very impressive mark in her development as a leader in the company that develops and sells robotics and automation for companies that have warehouse facilities. In her new role as CSO, Gina reports directly to the CEO and will be responsible for helping to develop the strategy for the company, develop product direction, go-to-market initiatives, merger and acquisition initiatives, partnerships and other cross-functional programs to help drive revenue growth and expand their global platform.

Gina joined Locus Robotics in 2023 as Vice President of Corporate Development and has led the development of corporate strategy, strategic business development and corporate partnerships. Her role with Locus has enhanced the company’s strategic position and assisted in firming up the company's strategy in terms of being a leader in the global warehouse automation industry.

Before she joined Locus Robotics, Gina spent over a decade with DHL developing a career in the areas of innovation and strategy. At DHL, she was responsible for leading innovation globally, controlling R&D, managing technology partnerships and leading next-generation automation deployment within DHL’s supply chain operations. Throughout her career with DHL, she has also consulted with some of the largest enterprise customers in North America and in the Americas on how to transform their supply chain strategies using innovative products and services.

Her DHL experience encompassed numerous senior leadership positions related to global trend analysis, innovation project management, city-wide logistics, last mile innovations, etc., throughout Germany/Singapore/US; enhancing her international knowledge/expertise in both logistics transformation as well as technological innovation. Additionally, she has served as a mentor within start-up programs at Berkeley SkyDeck (a leading start-up accelerator) & participated in Goldman Sachs’ prestigious Executive Acceleration Program which supports the development of executive leadership capabilities.
