Ibukun Awosika Leadership's initiative, the 2025 International Woman Leadership Conference (TIWLC), concluded with a bang in Dubai, bringing together motivating women leaders, businesswomen, and change-makers across the globe.
TIWLC, a creation of Ibukun Awosika Leadership, concluded in grand success in Dubai, featuring key women leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-agents from around the world. Held from March 19th to 21st, the conference was titled "Woman in Leadership… Living The Dream," focusing on visionary leadership, collaboration, and mindful development.
The conference was attended by over 600 women from more than 15 nations and territories across Africa, Europe, North America, the UAE, and the Caribbean, its global reach underscored once again. During the three days, participants engaged in high-impact plenary sessions, innovative panel discussions, and valuable networking, through targeted debates on leadership, business, and personal development.
Highlights were the inspiring keynote speeches by outstanding leaders such as Fola Adeola, GTBank Co-founder, who addressed the power of collaboration in women's leadership, and Bolaji Sofoluwe MBE, who addressed the tough journey of entrepreneurship. Lucy Quist brought everyone back to the fact that leadership is achievable at any level if women take their space.
There were also expert-panels with speakers like Dr Sam Adeyemi, Caroline Popoola, Alan Pace, and Esther Akinnukawe, that provided thought-provoking talk on global leadership, business development, and governance. Women of high public profile who are in positions of leadership like Dr Nike Akande, Dolapo Osinbajo, Tara Fela-Durotoye, and H.E. Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi inspired the audience by sharing their leadership habits like networking, empathy, mentoring, and self-care.
TIWLC Dubai 2025 reinforced the idea that enabling women is not only a social duty but also a driver of economic development and innovation. Through lively discussions, the delegates were enabled with practical solutions to take positive action within their organizations and societies, while creating lasting relationships with other leaders.
