Harsha Ravindran Presents Award at Women of the Future 2025

• Harsha received the Social Entrepreneur Award at the event

21st Century Malaysian Female Social Entrepreneur Harsha Ravindran (age 23) returned to the Women of the Future Awards (2025) Southeast Asia as the presenter of the Social Entrepreneur Award (an award she previously won in 2024).

The award presentation was held at the Voco Hotel Singapore, and was the 8th edition of this award, showcasing the growing level of involvement in Southeast Asia from two of her own organisations – Ascendance (developing programs for youth) & Expop.

As presenter of the award, Harsha spoke to all the finalists, industry leaders, sponsors and guests about the importance of the Women of the Future Community, and how she has used her global forum to connect more than 50000 Gen Z members to their purpose through socially conscious entrepreneurial activities. She stated 'the finalists exemplified how business can do good for society'.

Malaysia also celebrated the success of another nominee when Natalie Loi, Head of Technology at UnBound Malaysia & Australia, was awarded the Science, Technology & Digital Award.

She is the Co-Founder of UnBound Malaysia, an Augmented Reality education platform that has now reached 150000+ students throughout Asean, Australia and other locations and made tremendous contributions to the future of Digital Learning.

Other finalists in Malaysia included Ramyaahshiiny Rajentheran, Media & Communications; Eda Poh Yee Ng, ESG & Sustainability; Hsu Syuen Ng, Professions; Joey Kee, Social Entrepreneur; and Nor Farah Ain Abdullah, Sport-reflecting diverse representation across the set categories.

The Women of the Future Awards 2025 Southeast Asia were supported by NTT DATA as headline sponsor, alongside a raft of sponsors including Asia Square, Lendlease, Roche, Saïd Business School (University of Oxford), Salesforce, Standard Chartered and Worldpay. Programme partners included the Financial Times, L'Occitane, and Voco.

The awards continue to shine a light on and give a boost to the work of young women throughout Southeast Asia.
