HerSync, an Africa-built health-tech platform for women, has rolled out what it calls the first multilingual AI-driven health assistant and smart cycle tracker on the continent.
The platform is meant to solve reproductive health issues that are usually neglected in schools, the workplace, and health systems.
In a statement yesterday, the company stated that the app will be used as a culturally relevant, technology-based guide for women in various stages of life.
HerSync is differentiated from existing cycle trackers by the provision of multilingual support, offline use, and partner engagement features.
All premium features are free at launch, including AI-driven cycle and symptom monitoring, 24/7 voice-activated health assistant, multilingual reproductive health information, and privacy-oriented settings.
The app also facilitates partner involvement, offers referral incentives to promote community expansion, and enables users to personalize their experience.
Since it was soft launched in early 2025, HerSync has already reached out 3,500 women and girls, and is on track to receive over 10,000 users by the end of the year. The app has a 4.9 star review rating in the App store; its reviewers consistently note the cultural relevance, ease of use, and insights by AI.
By May 31, 2025, HerSync was the number one Medical app in the Nigerian Apple App Store and the number four Medical app in the Nigerian Google Play Store.
The company also promoted the app at GITEX Nigeria 2025, Lagos, where the team showcased its features to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The medical strategy for HerSync is being praised by Adeh Chioma, Medical and Strategy Lead, who oversees that the clinical approach of the app is safe, evidence-based, and user-centric.
In the future, the business aims to achieve 500,000 women globally by 2027 and is looking to grow its contribution to reproductive and workplace wellness through predictable and affordable technology.
