Hikma Appoints Rebecca Hall as Chief Financial Officer

Rebecca Hall has been appointed CFO and Executive Director at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, continuing her long journey in the pharmaceutical sector for over 20 years that began in finance. She holds a wealth of experience in commercial finance, financial control, supply chain finance, business strategy and executive leadership with experience across Europe, North America and Asia.

Rebecca has joined Hikma from ViiV Healthcare, where she was Senior Vice President and CFO. She was appointed as ViiV's Global Finance Controller and Commercial Strategy Finance lead in 2018 and subsequently became Vice President and Head of North America Finance in Raleigh, North Carolina. In 2024, she was appointed as SVP and CFO of ViiV Healthcare, taking her force over finance, supply chain and business development.

Her time with ViiV enhanced her track record in leading finance functions in a multi-national pharmaceutical organisation. She also took on the leadership role for supply chain finance in Asia Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), thus gaining additional international perspective to her leadership role.

Prior to joining ViiV, Rebecca served for 14 years in GSK, holding a number of senior finance roles. She served as the Chief of Staff to the GSK Group CFO in the CEO Office, Senior Finance Director – Emerging Markets Supply Chain, Commercial Finance Director – Europe, Sales Finance Partner – UK and Central Europe, and Pharma Finance Partner.

Rebecca started her tenure at GSK through the Finance Future Leader Program, establishing a solid foundation in commercial and operational finance, before stepping up to more senior roles. She has gone on to include experience in corporate finance and commercial decision making, emerging markets, supply chain operations and strategic business support.

Her international experience has spanned London, the United States and Singapore giving her a breadth of experience in a variety of pharmaceutical markets and operating environments. This mix of financial skills and global experience has made her a seasoned finance professional who has gone beyond the realm of traditional financial control.

Rebecca is a BSc Economics graduate from Durham University who became a CIMA qualified accountant in 2007. Additionally, her impact is evident in her role as the NXT GEN Women in Finance Future CFO 2024/25 winner, underscoring her influence in senior finance leadership.
