Laura Parkes Joins LVMH as HR Leader for South & Southeast Asia

LVMH has appointed Laura Parkes as HR Leader for South & Southeast Asia, effective September 14, 2026, reinforcing its regional leadership as the luxury group accelerates growth across one of its most strategically important markets. She will report to Maud Alvarez-Pereyre, Chief Human Resources Officer at LVMH, and work closely with François Kohler, President of LVMH South & Southeast Asia.

In her new role, Laura will oversee the group's human resources strategy across South and Southeast Asia, focusing on talent development, organisational transformation and aligning people initiatives with business priorities. She will also play a key role in strengthening local talent pipelines and supporting the continued expansion of LVMH's Maisons across the region.

Welcoming the appointment, Maud Alvarez-Pereyre said Laura's international leadership experience, expertise in talent development and ability to manage large-scale transformation would help strengthen regional teams and support LVMH's long-term ambitions in South and Southeast Asia.

Laura joins the regional leadership team after serving as Senior Vice President, Talent and Development at Louis Vuitton, where she led the company's global talent strategy. Her responsibilities included succession planning, executive recruitment, leadership development, early careers programmes and global talent acquisition. She also worked closely with business leaders to create career pathways across functions and geographies within the wider LVMH ecosystem.

Since joining Louis Vuitton in 2021, Laura has helped strengthen the luxury fashion house's global approach to talent management by developing initiatives that support employee growth and leadership succession while aligning workforce capabilities with business objectives.

Before entering the luxury sector, Laura built an extensive career across retail, manufacturing, consumer goods and technology industries. She held senior human resources leadership roles at Gap Inc, where she partnered with the company's global supply chain and strategic sourcing teams while leading HR operations across international markets. Her work included organisational redesign, capability building and supporting business transformation across key sourcing locations.

Earlier, she spent more than six years at Avery Dennison, where she established and led a centralised global talent acquisition function serving multiple business units worldwide. She also directed learning, organisational development and campus recruitment initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region, gaining broad experience in workforce planning and leadership development.

Her earlier career also included leadership positions at Verizon Business and Alexander Mann Solutions, where she built regional recruitment functions across Europe and Asia-Pacific and delivered large-scale hiring strategies for multinational organisations.

Having lived and worked across Asia, Europe and North America, Laura brings more than two decades of international human resources experience spanning specialist and generalist leadership roles. Her cross-industry expertise and understanding of global markets are expected to support LVMH as it continues balancing international brand standards with local market needs.
