In a drive to strengthen microenterprise growth, Grooming Centre equips 1,346 members with business support tools. The 14th Grooming Splash sees strategic empowerment as Centre awards tools to boost member livelihoods.
Reiterating the organization’s mission, CEO Dr. Godwin Nwabunka stated that the program highlights Grooming Centre’s strategic focus on empowering enterprising individuals and promoting economic resilience. He reported that the distribution of resources was facilitated through a tech-enabled raffle draw, benefiting women participants from multiple states including Lagos, Oyo, and Abuja.
“Grooming Splash is part of the ways we support women; we also have a scholarship scheme for the children of these women in secondary schools and grants for undergraduates as well as postgraduate students,” Dr. Godwin said.
Executive Director of Programmes, Alexander Enyinnah, stated that the Centre expands its prize offerings this year to match its growing impact and recognize client loyalty, emphasizing the importance of appreciation amid economic headwinds.
Reaffirming the Centre’s empowerment agenda, Isoken Nwabunka noted that the resources provided are aimed at enhancing income-generating activities and represent a tangible investment in women’s economic advancement. In line with best practices, the organization leveraged real-time tech solutions to conduct the selection process, affirming its commitment to fairness and digital transparency. Several recipients shared their gratitude and optimism, recognizing the practical impact of the support.
