Lady Liberty is hosting a global live virtual panel via New York Festivals on March 24 to commemorate Women's History Month. The title of this panel is "Rewriting the Creative Playbook from the Middle East; The Role Women Play."

Attendees will learn how women have helped shape the growth and infrastructure of the creative economy in the Middle East region through their contributions.

Aside from the exponential growth seen within the creative industries by increasing investments and cultural initiatives (which is providing many more creative opportunities), another factor contributing to the Middle East becoming a worldwide destination for creative innovation and brand storytelling is how much technology has been integrated into these industries to accelerate the development of this new market.

Attendees will also hear from industry leaders regarding how both cultural and technological trends have impacted the region, as well as how worldwide organizations are getting more involved in the rapidly growing creative economy of the Middle East region.

In addition, it will also be shared how women are instrumental in developing strategies and marketing for their respective companies and organizations; this topic will also be addressed during the panel discussion.

Topics discussed during this panel will include the expanding creative economy in the Middle East; and the influencing effects of culture on the creative process

Jennifer Vizina, Executive Director of The New York Festivals Health Awards will moderate the panel. Christina Peyton, KLAR Consulting, formerly WPP; Rima Jammal, Novo Nordisk, (Marketing Director for Nestlé) will be among panelists.

Eleni Kitra is also an executive at the Advertising Business Group, (formerly PlayStation, Omnicom, Meta), and offers guidance to help women involved in tech and mobility (including contributions to UN Women).

The New York Festivals Lady Liberty Leadership Program is focused on providing support for women working in creative industry sectors via mentoring, educational opportunities, and career connections. An Advisory Board will guide program activities through 2026.

The program is based on three areas of focus: providing support for early stage careers, mentoring women into leadership positions, and providing pathways for women returning to the workforce after being away from the work force.
