Orion Innovation Adds Melanie Kalmar & Randy Kern to Its Board

Orion Innovation, a leading data-and AI-driven software engineering company, today announced the addition of Melanie Kalmar and Randy Kern to its Board of Directors.

Their experience spans global digital transformation, engineering, and technology innovation in major Fortune 500 companies.

Melanie and Randy will support Orion's strategic direction to further strengthen the company's positioning in Data, AI, and Cloud technologies, as it continues to modernize and grow the businesses of its clients.

Prior to joining GE, Melanie spent almost four decades at Dow, where she worked as Corporate Vice President, Chief Information Officer, and Chief Digital Officer. She has led key strategies related to IT, cybersecurity, AI/GenAI, and major corporate integrations.

The industry recognition Melanie has received includes the National CIO of the Year ORBIE Award and being named to the Forbes CIO Next Top 50 list. She participates actively in initiatives that promote women in technology and STEM.

One Equity Partners' Carlo Padovano observed that these appointments broaden the expertise of the Board in technology and business transformation.
