Pinky Promise, an AI-powered digital clinic catering to women’s health, founded by Mumbai resident Soma Das, has managed to raise $1 million from a pre-seed funding round led by Rebalance Angel Community.

This funding event was joined by angel investors, who include Padma Bhushan awardee and Tata Consultancy Services' MD & CEO, S Ramadorai, along with Mala Ramadorai.

The company intends to utilize the new capital for speeding up its integrated care services, developing its network of brick-and-mortar clinics, and working towards extending its range of scientifically supported nutritional supplements. Pinky Promise hopes to improve the continuity of care and reach out to the entire nation of India.

"Pinky Promise is a digital first platform that uses AI systems and is reviewed by gynecologists to diagnose and treat women’s health-related issues." The service provides an alternative in a country like India where there is a lack of "access to confidential, affordable, and non-judgmental sexual and reproductive healthcare."

The pinky promise service is accessed by users through an app where they can get "24/7 care and talk to expert gynecologists and get medical and prescription advice instantly." The service is accessed at just Rs 99 per consultation and is therefore accessible.

Presently, Pinky Promise has been catering to gynaec-related needs of more than 350,000 women, treating symptoms exceeding 320, starting from menstruation to urine infections, fertility to pregnancy, as well as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). The company currently has approximately 40,000 subscribers in the country of India.
