Japan officially kicked off a new public-private consortium of national and local governments and private companies to nurture female digital professionals. Formed on Monday, the public-private body is chaired by Wakako Yata, a former special adviser to the prime minister.

PTHM Sampoerna Tbk. has reinforced its support for empowering women entrepreneurs through the second season of its Women Ecosystem Catalyst (WEC) program in Central Java. In collaboration with the National Solidarity Movement (GSN), the Central Java Government, and the Impala Association, WEC Season 2 prioritized the empowerment.

UAE Pledges Support to Women & Children affected by Ukraine War

The UAE has agreed to a declaration in favour of women-owned small businesses and enhanced access to education for children of the Ukraine war. The pledge was made at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome, with Reem Al Hashimy, the Minister of State for International Co-operation, leading the UAE delegation.
